A destination with a unique story to help you make yours.
This room is named for Ferrante Sirolli – an unusual character in the family who lived in the 11th century. Surly and rough, he was a known quick-tempered troublemaker. He fought incessentaly. One day, after being wounded in battle, he claimed to have looked death in the face – and then was miraculously healed. From that moment on, he became a new man – embracing faith and defending the poor and defenseless from the injustices of the rich noblemen of the time. He lived a long life, and when he died, was much adored.
